This week has been a pretty good week. We had our first birthing class yesterday - this time, we're taking a Bradley Method class, in hopes that we have a different labor experience. Looking back at Lilly's birth, there are a lot of things I'd do differently, and the hope is that this class will give us the tools we need to avoid the interventions we needed during the birthing process last time. Since this is the last time we plan to do this, I'm determined, though I know that there is only so much we can control. Our instructor did say that we probably couldn't have avoided many interventions with Lilly due to my premature rupture of membranes (water breaking without labor starting). I really like the class so far, and am looking forward to the rest of our classes! There are eight other couples in the class, and there is another couple with the same exact due date. We're both the latest due dates in the class. There's a few April, some May, June, and July. We're already looking forward to next Sunday's class!
