Happy or Moody most of the time: This week was pretty blah. Excited, but also just REALLY tired. Can't believe we're already halfway!
Looking forward to: 20 week appointment with the midwife tomorrow! And a water birth class tomorrow night. I'm also looking forward to our next scan, but we don't have it scheduled yet, since tomorrow is our first appointment with the new office.

Wow. Halfway! I know I say this every week, but it is flying by! Lilly continues to be the most adorable toddler ever, and I'm glad for it, because we had a ROUGH week. I mentioned I'd had a cold since around Valentine's Day that Lilly and I kept passing back and forth. Her cold turned into an ear infection and mine turned into walking pneumonia. Last week, on Friday, I woke up with an extremely sore throat, and thought it was strep. The tests were negative though, so I just kept up with the hot water, lemon and honey treatment that wasn't working. Sunday it was much worse, and by Monday, I had a cough and was losing my voice and felt completely exhausted. Like walking from the bedroom to the kitchen would have me really fatigued. I had Tuesday off for my 30th birthday, and we had to cancel our fun plans, so I could rest. By then, my voice was completely gone and my cough was really bad. It was bad enough that I took half a day off on Wednesday and went to the dr. She gave me an antibiotic and I took the rest of the week off to rest, and I'm feeling much better now. About 50% better than I was on Tuesday/Wednesday! I'm so glad for modern medicine.
