27 Weeks

How far along? 27w, 2d

Total weight gain: Up another two, so up six from pre-pregnancy weight.

Maternity clothes? Yes.

Stretch marks? I can't really tell if I have new ones from this baby, or if the old ones are starting to show up again.

Sleep: It's hit or miss.  Some nights are great, and I sleep straight through but other nights I wake up a few times.

Best moment this week: Same as last, nothing really stands out, but in a good way.

  Miss Anything? Wine.

Movement: Lots of movement and I love it.  I think Lilly has felt it a few times, but she seems unimpressed.

   Food cravings: Fruit again!  Strawberries, bananas, oranges, lots of fruit.  Taco dip!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing really at this point! 

Have you started to show yet? Yes

Gender prediction: Undecided this week.  I really have no idea.
Symptoms: Backaches, and some nasal congestion at the end of the day.  Hip pain, so much hip pain.

Belly Button in or out? In. It's definitely shallow.  When I lay down, it's almost popping out.  I'm not sure though if it will ever pop out. 

Wedding rings on or off? On.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy this week.
 Looking forward to: Wow... so many things left to do, it's hard to pick just one thing!

Wow... tomorrow is exactly three months until our due date!  I can't believe it's so close.  Time has flown by, and I know exactly who to blame for that!  Lilly keeps us so busy, between running around, wanting to play, and trying to go potty, it's constant!  We are enjoying these last few months as a family of three, just trying to soak up as much time with her as possible.  She is just so much fun, and I can't wait to see her as a big sister. 

26 Weeks

How far along? 26w

Total weight gain: Up another two, so up four from pre-pregnancy weight.

Stretch marks? Not yet, that I've noticed.

Sleep: It's hit or miss.  Some nights are great, and I sleep straight through.  

Best moment this week: Hmm... it was a pretty good week overall, so nothing really stands out!

  Miss Anything? Wine. Still all the wine.

Movement: Lots of movement and I love it.  Still can't wait for Lilly to feel it, but she's so impatient.

   Food cravings: Fruit again!  Strawberries, bananas, oranges, lots of fruit.  Milkshakes, pop tarts, pasta salad.  I'm surprised I haven't gained a ton more.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing really at this point!

 Looking forward to: Finishing up my office and getting Lilly all moved into her new room.  We have SO MUCH left to do!

25 Weeks

How far along? 25w, 2d

Total weight gain: I really don't even know if I should bother keeping track anymore!  Up four from last week, finally over pre-pregnancy weight by 2 lbs.

Maternity clothes? Yes

Stretch marks? Not yet, that I've noticed.

Sleep: It's hit or miss.  Some nights are great, and I sleep straight through.  Others, like last night, I'm up three or more times to pee.

Best moment this week: Meeting the other midwife at our practice, and returning to Bradley class after 'spring break'. Having my husband home two Saturday nights in a row was also super awesome!

  Miss Anything? Wine. Still all the wine.

Movement: Lots of movement and I love it.  The only time I don't like it is when baby kicks me in my business!

   Food cravings: Fruit again!  Strawberries, bananas, oranges, lots of fruit.  And hash browns.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing really at this point!

Symptoms: Backaches, and some nasal congestion at the end of the day.

 Looking forward to: Moving Lilly into her new room and getting the baby stuff set up.  I can't believe we only have 3.5 months left!  It's FLYING by and I'm so not ready!

24 Weeks

How far along? 24w, 3d

Total weight gain: Down 1 from last week, so -2 from pre-preg weight.

Maternity clothes? Yes

Stretch marks? Not yet, that I've noticed.

Sleep: I'm sleeping pretty well! 

Best moment this week: Lots of things! Lilly's party was the highlight though. 

  Miss Anything? Wine. Still all the wine.

Movement: Lots of movement and I love it.

   Food cravings: Nothing really specific actually.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing really at this point!

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy this week.
 Looking forward to: Having Lilly feel the baby.  She isn't patient enough yet to wait to feel the kicks, but hopefully soon when I start having bigger, general movement, she'll feel it.  

On Saturday we celebrated our baby girl's 2nd birthday!  I can't believe it's been two whole years since she arrived.  It feels like she's been around forever, in the best way possible.  She is the light of our lives, and we cannot wait to see her as a big sister.  She got a baby for her birthday, and she loves to rock baby, give baby kisses, and do everything with baby.  She is the most amazing little person and not a baby anymore.  Happy Birthday to our little princess!  We love you!
