About Me

Hi everyone!  I want to take a moment to thank anyone and everyone who has read any of my posts.  I'm pretty sure I'm just posting for my family to read, but I'd like to think that there are some people who aren't related to me reading this blog of mine.

On to the about me - I'm a wife and mom.  This blog is really just my way of getting some adult 'me' time.  I work out of my home and Lilly stays home as well, so we don't really do all that much!

My hubby and I met in 2007, shortly after I graduated from ISU.  We lived together in Massachusetts for two years, while he worked on getting his A&P Certificate and I just worked.  We decided to move home in the summer of 2010, and my wonderful (former) boss allowed me to stay on and work remotely. 

We got married in 2010 in a very simple and low-key ceremony in the house I grew up in.  It was perfect and I wouldn't change a thing!

In late 2011, we realized we could afford to buy a house, and so the search was on!  We closed on our house in June 2012, and found out we were expecting a month an a half later.  The rest, as they say, is history!

We are looking forward to watching our daughter grow up, our careers take off, and hopefully adding to our brood at some point in the next few years... I am very excited to see what the future has in store for us!
